I am your nightmare, your cause for trepidation and restless nights.
Some people already conclude that I'm erratic while some just want to befriend me and get to know me better later .

Yes , I've been living a lie and I don't think I'm the only one that's guilty of this heinous crime . Unfortunately , I made this realization only after so many years ( 15 and more years , to be exact ) . Since young , haven't we been told to appreciate and embrace the way we are ? We are supposed to love the bodies that we were born in , aren't we ? BUT NO ! Instead of appreciating our own bodies , we spend so much money on the alteration of our OWN bodies ! We have braces glued onto our teeth in order to correct its "crooked-ness" . We put on coloured contact lenses as if we're so embarrassed with the original colour of our pupils and we even resort to wearing heels so that we can look a few centimetres taller than our peers ! Though these don't sound as ridiculous as it may seem , they're still cover-ups ! Talk about "enhancing" our features is just crap , really , because "natural beauty" still persists .

I am a liar . I am a victim to the many forms of cosmetic available today and I have another confession to make : I've been hiding my naturally frizzy hair from the eyes of many . )): . Just last year , I thought I needed to go for a change , instead of having my hair pulled straight , I decided to go against all odds and defy gravity by having my hair permed . Yes , permed ! I really did like the looks of it after I got it done but it started to pose many problems for me . The problems are namely : even more frizzy hair , tangled hair , dry hair and the list goes on . When I finally decided that enough was enough , I had it straightened . AGAIN !

Digressing , 2008's Chinese New Year has been a blast so far ( mainly because of the amount of red packets I have received =Pp . This is reality , people ) . I had my reunion dinner at Good Wood Park Hotel ( which is conveniently located beside Far East ) . The dinner there was more than awesome ! It was finger lickin' good . I got to devour one whole slice of cod , which already happens to be my all time favourite , a huge serving of duck , a humongous bowl of shark's fin soup and a bowl of pork ribs with some crunchy dry noodle thing .
