BUT THEN ! 3 weeks later , we realized ( Life is all about making realizisations , isn't it ? *Shrugs*) that we need not face the humiliation of having to purchase the tickets by ourselves because his uncle gave them to him ! To top things of , the tickets do not simply entitle us to front row seats but they are also not accessible to the public . Which means that even celebrities like Zoe Tay will not be bestowed the honour of having to seat with us ! Wow wee !

Here are our babies :

Upon reaching the stadium , we dashed up the stairs , and went up to the entrance only to be refused by the "bouncers" aka ushers because they felt that the entrance wasn't grand enough for our tickets . So , they directed us to the PREMIUM ENTRANCE instead . We were kind of embarrassed , actually . Imagine : A childless couple being refused at the entrance (although the reason why we were will always remain a mystery to the parents behind us ) . Anyway , so we bolted down the flight stairs in the same kind of hurry that we were in when we went up . When we went downstairs , as requested by the ushers , we were appalled at how un-grand the PREMIUM ENTRANCE was .

The things that were on sale there were such a rip off that we were convinced that they were only sold to incognizant tourists who seemed to be more than willing to part with their money . Oh well , I guess they had no idea how our hearts went out for them . Despite knowing that the Disney products that were sold were worth an entire week's allowance , NNSK still got me a Little Mermaid wand which will break out in the "Under The Sea" song at every attempt of pressing Ariel's hard back and it has an illuminating star like tip that glows as the song is being played . Awww , thanks so much for going hungry just so that my unsatiable thirst for kiddy stuff can be satisfied . In order to return the favour , I bought him a Stitch cup which was filled with ice shavings to the brim - which posed problems for us later on . My wallet wasn't spared either ! 15 bucks for what - angmoh ice kachang ?!

Before the show commenced , a voice from nowhere boomed throughout the stadium , " The show will begin in five minutes " . I found this rather lame because the show will OBVIOUSLY begin and it is only a matter of WHEN . So there really isn't a need to inform us . -.-

As promised ,the show began "five minutes later" and it was SPECTACULAR . The choreography was impeccably well-organized and the performers kept making sure that the audience were part of the show . And thus ,the verdict :

DOI is engaging and it manages to bring out that inner child that has been dying to come out successfully !

Ironically , during the interval , we noticed a familar figure among the many people of the audience . It then dawned on us that is was no other than ZOE TAY . And true to what I have said , she was sitting on a seat that was even further from the rink . Which means that she did not manage to get her hands on the PREMIUM TIX . So much for being a celebrity *beams with pride* .

Thinking that we shouldn't let the night go to waste . We went to Kallang Leisure Park and blew some more money on time-consuming arcade games -.-

Can you tell that the one on the right is significantly brighter than the one on the left ? It's all thanks to the spanking new gadget my dad gave me . Pity the photos taken are too big in size , which makes uploading them in friendster a near- impossible task . Unless they can be compressed .... HMMMM .
